They have a mission to make processes safer and greener, and continue to be at the forefront of engineering.
The Position:
This world leading company are recruiting for a Regional Salesperson to lead growth for their direct and indirect sales channels across 6 central states (OK, KS, IA, NE, ND, SD). You will be responsible for effectively managing existing accounts in the power market as well as a network of manufacturers reps in the region. This position has both new equipment and aftermarket sales responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and grow new equipment and aftermarket sales with existing customers in the power and energy market
- Oversee multiple manufacturers representatives in the region
- Identify opportunities in the oil & gas and power markets to increase sales for the product line
- Conduct face to face visits with customers to effectively promote the product
- Build sales strategy for sales channels and execute effectively against sales goals
- Conduct market and competitive analysis for the target market segments
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience with valves
- Knowledge of the oil & gas, refining and/or power markets
- 3 years of experience in a customer facing, outside sales positions
- Experience in a customer-facing function and can show the ability to identify opportunities to sell products
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (preferred, not required)
