Overview
Do to expansion, we are seeking a candidate to join our team. Whether or not you are looking to get into the growing field of metrology, or a skilled calibration technician searching for greater opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurement and test instruments used in various industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of calibration processes, as well as proficiency in using various testing equipment. The Calibration Technician will work closely with senior metrologists and other technical staff to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Salary determination is based on basic ability and the amount of hands on training required.
Duties
- Perform calibration of instruments including Dimensional, Mechanical, Inspection, Mass, Force, and Weighing Devices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Clean Driving record.
- Provide field service support for calibration tasks at client locations.
- Document calibration results and maintain accurate detailed records in compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma
- Basic Math Proficiency
- Strong knowledge of calibration techniques and equipment used in the industry.
- Proficiency in using measurement and testing instruments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Programs and Basic Computer Literacy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with senior Metrologists and technical staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
