Metrics LLC is searching for a Healthcare Data Analyst & Technical Specialist as we compete for a contract to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Health Informatics (OHI) Health Information Governance (HIG) Data Quality Program . This role will be responsible for healthcare data analytics, performance metric development, and software testing support .
Responsibilities :
- Extract, analyze, and visualize VA healthcare data to support data quality initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reports using SQL, Power BI, TOAD, and SSIS to monitor identity management and clinical data quality .
- Conduct data profiling, statistical analysis, and trend identification to enhance decision-making and improve data integrity.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and software performance analysis , ensuring data quality standards are met.
- Assist with business and technical document reviews , validating data governance compliance.
- Collaborate with VA stakeholders to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and data quality metrics.
- Support root cause analysis (HFMEA, RCA) and process improvement efforts related to clinical data integrity.
- Work with VA Master Person Index (VA MPI), Corporate Data Warehouse (CDW), and other reporting databases to ensure high-quality data management.
