Metrie is hiring for a Forklift Operator in Columbia, MD!
As our Forklift Operator, you will have the opportunity to:
As a Forklift Operator you will use industrial vehicles to move pallets and heavy items from one place to another with a forklift or a hand truck. A Forklift Operator helps the flow of product throughout the business, whether it’s stacking in a warehouse, loading a shipping container, outbound truck, or anything else that requires pallets/loads to be moved from point to point.
Who You Are
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- 1 or more years of experience in warehouse environment
- Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to utilize judgement when carrying out written, oral, and diagram form instructions
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoy working in a team environment
It would be an added bonus if you have:
- Basic computer skills
- Demonstrated warehouse experience in a warehouse environment
