What You'll Do
As the IT Integration Analyst, you will play a key role on the Metrie IT team to design, configure, manage and support Metrie’s integrations with our external trading partners (B2B) and internal systems (A2A).
Location: This role will be based in one of our Metrie Distribution or Manufacturing facilities, with occasional travel within Canada and the US.
Key Relationships: You will report directly to the Manager, ERP Operations Manager and be a member of the IT Business Systems team. You will be joining a team of other high-performing IT Business Partners, Support Analysts and Technical Analysts. Outside of the Metrie team you will collaborate with the technical teams at our customers, suppliers, banks, carriers, and manage the relationships with our external software vendors and support partners.
Key Responsibilities
At a high level you will be responsible for:
- Own and manage the Metrie integration landscape, including systems, processes, partners, communication and project management.
- Responsible for daily monitoring and support for current and future interfaces.
- Responsible for incident responses related to any integration issues or problems.
- Communication with stakeholders and 3rd party vendors.
- Gathering business requirements, architecting & designing solutions for new interfaces.
- Continuous improvement activities across all existing integrations.
- Creating and maintaining documentation related to all integrations.
- Planning and executing system and software updates related to interfaces.
- Testing all integrations during development, system & software upgrades and patches.
Major Responsibilities
- Overseeing day to day operations and tools such as:
o IBM Sterling Monitoring
o SAP IDocs Monitoring
o External vendor / partners
- Successfully communicate with the appropriate stakeholder on data related errors and failures.
- Collaborate with IT Business Partners and Analysts to improve processes eliminating manual work and inefficiencies.
- Ensure quality documentation and integration of SAP solutions with Metrie's systems and third-party software.
Professional Skills & Qualifications
- Committed to delivering results and excelling in your field with strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Designing, mapping, and supporting EDI interfaces with SAP S4 HANA; developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining interfaces using EDI, RFC, SAP BAPI, and IDOC technologies.
- Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi 6.1 (preferred), Inovis/GXS Trusted Link, or Mulesoft.
- Skilled in developing SQL views and stored procedures in SAP HANA DB & MSSQL Server, with experience in data architecture, SAP ABAP, and SQL Server.
- Experience managing diverse technical teams across different time zones.
- Thorough understanding of ANSI X12 standards, REST, SOAP, web services, and API communication protocols (S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O, AS2, VAN).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills (oral and written).
- Experience with Windows 11 and advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio; SharePoint a plus).
- Willingness to cover early or late hours with occasional weekend support.
- Familiarity with SAP BTP & Integration Suite, CPI, PI/PO, and working with S4 HANA.
- Able to handle multiple projects and collaborate with third parties to meet deadlines.

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at CAD $110,000.00−$125,000.00. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location. Please note that the actual pay may vary and can be higher or lower than the posted range based on these factors.
