We are looking for a Manufacturing Production Associate to join our team!
The schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm and Saturdays when needed. Applicants must be able to work overtime daily.
Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Production Associate performs product assembly/production of custom doors
- Utilize equipment and tools including tape measurers, table saws, nail guns, slider/miter saws, and hand and power tools
- Set up and independently operate all types of basic woodworking/production machines
- Produce quality parts per processing instructions
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Know and understand specific safety requirements for each piece of equipment
- Always wear appropriate PPE
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and math (fractions and measurements)
- Previous carpentry/woodworking experience a plus
- Precision minded approach to work and strong attention to detail a must
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying and taking time to understand them by asking questions when needed
- Ability to understand and follow both written/verbal instructions, perform physical tasks in a timely, efficient, and safe manner
- Receive instructions, work well with others, learn new tasks, and be flexible in day-to-day duties
- Ability to work well in a team and independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Physical:
- Must be in sound physical condition and be able to perform a physically demanding job
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Manufacturing Production Associates need to have physical stamina and be able to stand, squat, climb and bend throughout their shift
Work Conditions:
- Warehouse/manufacturing environment
- Exposure to varying hot and cold weather conditions, dust, dirt, fumes, and loud noises
- There may be long and irregular hours, including overtime
- Working near moving mechanical parts or machinery

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay for this role is starting at $20.00 per hour. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
