The Warehouse Lead needs to be available for all shifts (for coverage if needed). Scheduled shift will be:
- Shift: Thursday – Saturday
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
What You’ll Do
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, servicing production areas and the efficient and cost-effective operation of the floor processes. The candidate will lead the warehouse floor associates and coordinate all transfers by completing set procedures and communicate with external parties when necessary, during the shift.
As our Warehouse Lead, we need your in-depth knowledge of operations, customer focus, and sound business acumen to:
- Provide planning, direction and control of all available resources.
- Ensure timely, damage-free loading/unloading of shipments.
- Operate various types of machinery as required.
- Provide a clean, safe environment for all personnel and visiting customers.
- Ensure all work is performed according to company approved procedures, standards and specifications.
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Guide and coach staff to achieve daily goals.
Who You Are
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role in a warehouse environment
- Track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Track record of successfully collaborating with customers & other team members from different departments
- Ability to operate various types of machinery
- Detail oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certified is preferred
- Read and understand pick lists and paperwork
- Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh between 49-69 lbs.
- Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
- Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer
- Clean and tidy the work area as required
- Ensure all work is performed safely and timely
- Product binning and put-away as needed
