Key Responsibilities
- Assessment & Analysis
- Conduct assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis.
- Complete all required components for the client’s funding source.
- Program Development
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client and caregiver needs.
- Maintain reports, including Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans, and Discharge Summaries.
- Supervision & Training
- Train and supervise behavior technicians in implementing ABA interventions.
- Utilize behavioral skills training (BST) to equip direct care staff with essential skills for client programs.
- Caregiver Support
- Develop and implement caregiver training programs.
- Monitor client progress using visual analysis and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education
- Master’s degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Experience in a multidisciplinary team setting preferred.
Licensure & Certification
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Valid Licensed Behavior Specialist license.
- Skills & Compliance
- Strong understanding of the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA regulations, and company policies.
- Physical ability to transition quickly from seated to standing positions and occasionally lift items up to 50 lbs.
