As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will play a pivotal role in our mission to create positive change.
What You’ll Do
- Select and administer appropriate assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essentials for Living, Functional Assessments, Functional Analyses) based on the client’s needs and funding requirements.
- Develop comprehensive reports, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), individual treatment plans, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and discharge summaries.
- Train and supervise Behavior Technicians in implementing ABA strategies and interventions.
- Use behavioral skills training to equip caregivers and staff with necessary skills, monitoring progress through visual analysis and adjusting plans when needed.
- Create and implement individualized programming tailored to the client’s and caregiver’s needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary setting (preferred).
- Certification:
- Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB (required).
- Ethical and Professional Standards:
- Adherence to the BACB Ethical Code, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move frequently from seated to standing positions and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
