Position Overview
This role provides comprehensive project leadership and oversight, ensuring that commercial and industrial construction projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. The Project Manager will also develop and manage relationships with owners, clients, and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the commercial and industrial construction project lifecycle
- Manage project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications and industry regulations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Monitor financial aspects of contracts, ensuring profitability and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Perform site visits and hold regular status meetings to track progress
- Approve invoices, payroll hours, and manage the billing process
- Respond to RFIs, process change orders, and oversee submittals
- Work alongside Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers to ensure project success
- Implement problem-solving strategies to mitigate risks and resolve issues effectively
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Experience:
- Minimum of two years supervising or managing junior project engineers
- Minimum of five years managing construction of multi-level structures and parking garages with post-tension experience
- Minimum of five years reading blueprints and specifications for large commercial concrete structures
- Minimum of five years responding to inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, or business professionals
- Minimum of five years handling RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Proven ability to analyze complex issues, collect data, and develop solutions
- Valid driver’s license required
