Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Environmental Supervisor to ensure regulatory compliance across multiple manufacturing facilities in the United States. This position requires up to 50 percent travel and reports directly to the Vice President of Environmental.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, preferably in heavy industries such as automotive, metals, or steel.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Program Development and Implementation – Ensure adherence to federal and state environmental regulations.
- Site-Level Support – Provide guidance to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) teams to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Air Permitting and Title V Compliance – Lead facilities through major source air reporting and compliance.
- Compliance Testing and Reporting:
- Oversee RATA testing for systems including glass, paints, kilns, and dryers.
- Manage EPCRA TRI and Tier II filings (minimum one year of experience required).
- Ensure compliance with solid and hazardous waste regulations (minimum one year of experience required).
- Oversee DMR water compliance reporting, ensuring timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing Industry Experience – Strong background in heavy industries such as automotive, metals, or steel.
- Regulatory Expertise – Proven ability to develop and implement environmental programs in complex industrial settings.
- Technical Knowledge – In-depth understanding of Title V air permitting, RATA testing, EPCRA TRI reporting, hazardous waste compliance, and DMR water reporting.
