Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the HTM program, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term objectives.
- Develop and implement tailored service delivery plans to meet and exceed program goals.
Technology Assessment and Integration:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of medical devices to ensure functionality, reliability, and integration with healthcare systems.
- Drive seamless adoption of new technologies in clinical settings.
Risk and Vendor Management:
- Oversee risk management initiatives, ensuring the safety and reliability of medical devices.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure financial accountability.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Maintain strict compliance with healthcare technology regulations, including CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, and NRC standards.
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously assess and improve the program’s effectiveness.
- Prepare performance reports and recommend process improvements based on data insights.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in healthcare technology management.
- Demonstrated success in management and leadership roles within healthcare settings.
Certifications:
- Certification in a relevant field is required (CBET, CHTM, or equivalent).
Skills and Expertise:
- Extensive knowledge of medical equipment, including a wide range of manufacturers, models, and capital planning processes.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory standards for medical devices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
