Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement departmental objectives aligned with clinical, administrative, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Direct and evaluate all operational aspects of the department, ensuring patient care delivery, service efficiency, complaint resolution, and technology integration meet performance expectations.
- Supervise and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, disciplinary procedures, and ongoing professional development for department staff.
- Manage and oversee departmental budgets while ensuring adherence to financial plans and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Lead performance improvement initiatives with a focus on length-of-stay reductions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Foster a supportive work environment that encourages the integration of evidence-based practices and continuous learning in clinical operations.
- Oversee and refine case management processes, ensuring optimal utilization review, discharge coordination, and advocacy for patient-centered care.
Essential Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
Licenses/Certifications
- Active RN License valid in North Carolina
Experience
- Minimum three years of leadership experience in a case management or related healthcare setting preferred
