Job Title: Director of Women's Health Services

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility based on operational needs.
A respected and nationally recognized healthcare organization is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to oversee its Women’s Health Services department. This leadership role is essential in shaping clinical strategy, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of care.
Core Duties:
Strategic Direction:
Develop and implement departmental goals and initiatives that align with broader healthcare, administrative, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Operational Oversight:
Manage daily functions of the department, ensuring excellence in patient care, integration of health IT systems, service delivery evaluations, and effective resolution of patient concerns.
Team Leadership:
Supervise all aspects of personnel management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance assessments, disciplinary processes, and professional development initiatives.
Financial Management:
Take responsibility for departmental budgeting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial compliance with internal and external policies.
Regulatory Compliance:
Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to all relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
Staff Development & Clinical Excellence:
Foster an environment that supports continuous learning and the application of evidence-based practices to clinical protocols and care delivery.
Clinical Resource Support:
Act as a primary resource for obstetric and neonatal clinical matters, offering expert guidance to care teams as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree required; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Kentucky is required.
- Certifications: Must possess AWHONN certification, along with current BLS and NRP credentials.
- Core Competencies: Candidates must demonstrate excellent critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in high-stakes, independent roles.
