Echo Vascular Technologist

Role Summary
A leading healthcare organization seeks an experienced Echo Vascular Technologist to join their team in Modesto, California. This position involves conducting and managing echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures, ensuring accurate measurements and thorough documentation for physician evaluation. Clear communication with physicians, management, and colleagues regarding patient conditions during procedures is vital. A sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 is available, depending on certification level.
Work Schedule
- Shift: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Weekend Rotation: Required
- On-Call Duties: Weekends, holidays, and after-hours starting at 6:30 PM, with a 30-minute response time
Sign-On Bonus Details
- $30,000 for candidates with RDCS and RVT certifications
- $20,000 for candidates with RDCS certification only
Qualifications
Required:
- Board Certified Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS or RVT); must obtain within six months if not currently certified
- BLS certification
- At least 3 years of echocardiography experience across all modalities, including adult and geriatric patients
- Proficiency in Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) and Stress Echo
Preferred:
- Vascular Ultrasound experience
- Familiarity with in-patient testing for neonate, pediatric, and adolescent patients
Skills & Certifications
- RDCS
- RVT
- BLS
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Education: Associate’s Degree required
- Management Experience: Not required
