This role is instrumental in implementing transformation strategies and enhancing productivity at the manufacturing site through structured methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across all levels through cascading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Partner with plant leadership and business unit leaders to develop and implement improvement plans and cost-saving strategies.
- Drive operational and customer excellence, focusing on optimizing quality, efficiency, delivery, and cost while maintaining high safety standards.
- Develop, mentor, and coach teams in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, fostering a zero-loss mindset across operations.
- Implement and oversee Our Award-Winning Client frameworks to ensure a structured and progressive approach to continuous improvement.
- Conduct training sessions on strategy development, process improvement methodologies, and systematic approaches to enhance workforce capability.
- Lead breakthrough Kaizen events and focused improvement initiatives to drive measurable performance enhancements.
- Guide and manage a team of Factory Excellence Engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on operational advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain and expand multi-year cost optimization strategies, overseeing governance processes.
- Champion a results-oriented culture through structured deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, and performance optimization tools.
- Drive and track the execution of improvement projects, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with at least 3 years managing production systems.
- Strong background in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; Black Belt certification preferred.
- Demonstrated success in project or program management within a multi-site or global environment.
- Solid understanding of the interaction between operational excellence, financial performance, and customer service.
- Track record of driving process optimization, cost efficiency, and organizational transformation.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in strategy development, operational improvement methodologies, and loss elimination techniques.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and cost-to-win strategies within a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to integrate structured frameworks into day-to-day operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing change without direct authority.
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
