Position: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend
Employment Type: Full-Time | Pay Per Visit
Location: California, PA, and Surrounding Areas
Schedule:
- On-Call: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (5 PM – 1 AM)
- Scheduled Visits: Saturday and Sunday (8 units per day)
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality home health care on weekends. This role combines structured patient visits with on-call responsibilities, offering a balanced and flexible work environment while making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Care Coordination: Develop and oversee individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Direct Patient Care: Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Travel Requirements: Allocate approximately 20% of work hours to travel between patient locations (mileage reimbursement available).
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise and timely patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Time Management: Balance scheduled visits and on-call duties efficiently while maintaining quality care.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of RN experience in at least one of the following:
- Clinical Documentation
- Clinical Informatics
- Clinical Quality
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems (e.g., Practice Partner EMR or similar platforms).
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (PA).
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification (American Red Cross).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association).
Transportation:
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required for travel.
