The role involves collaboration with leadership, medical staff, and external stakeholders to achieve measurable results in clinical quality management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives across multiple service lines.
- Apply CQI and Change Management techniques to develop and implement more effective care processes.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to evaluate improvement efforts and track progress.
- Collaborate with hospital administration, department leaders, medical staff, and external partners to align initiatives with organizational goals.
- Facilitate improvement teams, leveraging data insights to implement and sustain changes.
- Serve as a resource for ensuring data-driven, sustainable improvements.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or
- Non-Nursing Bachelor's degree with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), or
- Doctoral degree in Nursing.
Experience:
- 2 to 5 years in quality improvement, healthcare process enhancement, or related fields.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator) or CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) Certification required within 12 months of hire.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
- Experience as a Diabetes Educator (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in quality improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to foster teamwork across diverse groups.
- Proven ability to implement and sustain changes using strategic data analysis and facilitation techniques.
