Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Framework Implementation: Deploy and manage Center for Internet Security (CIS) and NIST security frameworks.
- Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with company and industry standards, including HIPAA and FDA-regulated environments.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform assessments, identify risks, and implement effective remediation plans.
- Cloud Security: Oversee security measures for cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Security Measures: Develop and maintain controls (e.g., firewalls, DLP, encryption, patch management, vulnerability scans).
- AI Applications: Utilize AI technologies for advanced data protection and threat detection.
- Incident Response: Handle technical security issues and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate security measures across the development lifecycle.
- Training: Provide guidance and training to IT staff on cybersecurity best practices.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Security, or related fields.
Experience:
- 5-7 years in Cybersecurity or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Rapid7, NextGen AV, and SIEM systems.
- Proficiency with frameworks such as CIS and NIST.
- Extensive knowledge of network administration (e.g., VPN, IDS/IPS, firewalls).
- Experience in vulnerability management and cloud security.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with EDR, IAM, and DLP systems.
- Expertise in encryption, content filtering, and eDiscovery.
- Proficiency with tools like AI models for cybersecurity applications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA and FDA regulations is preferred.
