Our Award-Winning Client, a nationally recognized leader in energy infrastructure solutions, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its high-volume manufacturing facility. This location specializes in commercial outlet box production, utilizing advanced automation to manufacture over 1.3 million units weekly.

What You’ll Do

In this leadership role, you will manage the full scope of mechanical and facilities maintenance, ensuring production reliability and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement while developing proactive strategies for equipment longevity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operation of production equipment and facility systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs across production areas, effectively coordinating in-house personnel and external contractors.
  • Analyze and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to minimize downtime through strategic predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Supervise and mentor the maintenance team, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce a Zero Incident workplace culture through proactive accident prevention and investigation.
  • Manage procurement and inventory of replacement parts, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Lead and support capital projects and facility expansions, collaborating with engineering teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Drive lean manufacturing principles, participating in problem-solving teams, Kaizen events, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
  • Apply cost-control strategies while managing maintenance budgets and purchasing decisions.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least two years of direct management experience overseeing maintenance teams.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience with PLC programming, control panels, and power press systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
