Mobile X-Ray Technologist
Overview
Join an award-winning healthcare provider as a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, delivering mobile X-ray and EKG services to healthcare facilities across Illinois. This role requires technical expertise, professionalism, and strong communication skills to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transport and set up X-ray equipment inside healthcare facilities.
- Perform EKGs and transmit results for Cardiologist interpretation.
- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and clients.
- Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment to ensure functionality.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid ARRT certification in Illinois.
- Valid driver’s license (must remain in good standing).
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (or approved exemption).
Preferred
1 years of experience in any of the following:
- Meditech RAD – Radiology
- Mammography
- General Radiology
- Echocardiogram (Echo)
- Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG)
- Echocardiography
Schedule & Shift Details
- Flexible scheduling options:
- 5x8-hour shifts
- 4x10-hour shifts
- 3x12-hour shifts
- All with weekend rotations
