This role involves performing various technical tasks and quality control duties under the supervision of the Manager of Imaging Services and department Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective use of staff, maintaining quality control records, managing inventory, recommending supply purchases, and participating in employee performance appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical and quality control duties in the Nuclear Medicine department.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly quality control records.
- Manage inventory and recommend necessary supply purchases.
- Ensure staff efficiency and uphold departmental policies.
- Participate in appraising employee performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
- Continuing education hours required for license/certification renewal.
- National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or National Registered Technologist (NRT) in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Skills and Certifications:
- CNMT or NRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
