Position Overview
Our award-winning client, a nationally recognized leader in aerospace and defense innovation, is seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to drive the development of high-impact proposals. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage proposal activities, and contribute to mission-critical solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development & Management
- Oversee the entire proposal lifecycle, including scheduling, resource coordination, and deliverable management.
- Work closely with the Capture Manager to translate winning strategies into structured, compelling, and compliant proposals.
- Implement structured review processes, including Pink Team, Red Team, and Gold Team evaluations.
- Ensure the timely production, submission, and delivery of proposals.
Strategic & Technical Expertise
- Leverage knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, and Cloud Native solutions to develop forward-thinking proposals.
- Provide real-world examples of successfully managed proposals aligned with aerospace and defense industry missions.
- Stay informed on emerging cyber, RF, undersea, and interstellar technologies to address complex client needs.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8 years of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
Industry Knowledge
- Proven success in managing defense or aerospace sector proposals.
- Strong understanding of advanced missions, technologies, and product applications.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong creative problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Required: Department of Defense Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe.
- Preferred: Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of the work.
