Children's Outpatient Therapist - Social Worker (Full-Time)

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Family Practice
• Pediatrics
• Adolescent Care

A valid license or certification in one of the following (State of Michigan):

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Limited License Psychologist (LLP)
• Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP)

In this role, you’ll conduct assessments, provide therapy, develop crisis intervention plans, and advocate for your clients' needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments and associated documentation.
• Deliver face-to-face clinical interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy.
• Collaboratively create and implement crisis intervention plans.
• Advocate for the needs of children and families within the community.
• Contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to regulatory requirements.

Work Schedule:

• Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Full-time employees must deliver at least 23 hours of billable services weekly.
• Schedule must include at least 4 hours after 5:00 p.m. weekly, as arranged with your supervisor.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional local travel may be required.

Compensation:

• Salary range: $50,018 to $68,659 (based on licensure and experience).
• Additional incentive pay available.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Candidates must not have applied directly for this position. Direct applicants are ineligible for agency onboarding.
• Master’s degree or higher with licensure in Michigan as one of the following:
• TLLP, LLP, or LP (Psychologist)
• LLMSW or LMSW (Social Worker)
• LLPC or LPC (Professional Counselor)
• Ability to meet Michigan Department of Community Health requirements for a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) within 120 days of hire.
• Must pass Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Central Registry and criminal background checks.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer applications.
• Demonstrated cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills to build effective client relationships.
• Flexibility and teamwork with staff and other providers.

Additional Information:

• Candidates requiring student or work visas are not eligible.
• Licensure must remain active and in good standing. Failure to obtain required licensure within the training period may lead to disqualification.

Pay: Up to $68,659.01 per year
