Position Title: Children’s Outpatient Therapist – Full-Time

Position Overview

Our distinguished client is seeking a dedicated Children’s Outpatient Therapist to join their mental health team. In this role, you’ll provide therapeutic support to children and families, with a focus on fostering emotional wellness, managing behavioral challenges, and creating individualized treatment strategies. Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

Minimum of one year of experience in one or more of the following settings:

• Pediatrics
• Family medicine
• Adolescent behavioral health

Active licensure in the state of Michigan as one of the following:

• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Limited License Psychologist (LLP)
• Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments and document clinical findings
• Provide direct therapy services, including individual, family, and group interventions
• Develop safety and crisis intervention plans with clients and caregivers
• Support and advocate for families navigating mental health systems
• Participate in community engagement and represent the organization in public settings
• Maintain professional credentials and stay current with continuing education
• Engage in program evaluations and ongoing quality improvement efforts

Work Schedule

• Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Must maintain at least 23 billable clinical service hours per week
• Schedule must include a minimum of 4 evening hours per week (after 5:00 p.m.), coordinated with your supervisor

Travel Expectations

• Occasional travel within the local area may be required

Eligibility and Requirements

• Must hold and maintain a valid Michigan license in good standing (no disciplinary action)
• Must qualify as a Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) within 120 days of hire (per MDCH guidelines)
• Background checks and Central Registry clearance are required through MDHHS

Pay: Up to $68,659.23 per year
