Social Worker – Children’s Outpatient Therapist
Overview
Our client is seeking a Children’s Outpatient Therapist to provide clinical assessments, therapy, crisis planning, and advocacy for children and families. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments and complete required documentation.
- Provide face-to-face clinical interventions in individual, family, and group therapy settings.
- Develop crisis plans to support clients through challenging situations.
- Advocate for children and families to ensure they receive necessary services and support.
- Participate in program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
- Represent the organization in the community and build professional relationships.
- Maintain active licensure and stay up to date with professional requirements.
Schedule & Travel Details
- Full-time: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (with at least 4 evening hours per week after 5:00 PM).
- Billable Service Requirement: Minimum of 23 billable hours per week.
- Occasional local travel may be required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
- 1 year of experience in any of the following areas:
- Family Practice
- Pediatrics
- Adolescent Care
- Valid licensure/certification in Michigan (MI) in any of the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Limited Licensed Master Social Worker (LLMSW)
- Limited License Psychologist (LLP)
- Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
