Position Overview

As a Technology Risk Solutions Manager, you will be a key member of the FinPro Process and Controls team, tasked with identifying and mitigating IT risks, ensuring SOX compliance, and strengthening governance frameworks. This is an individual contributor role where you’ll collaborate across IT, Finance, and Audit teams to assess risks, design effective control solutions, and manage remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Management and Assessment

• Identify and evaluate SOX and operational IT risks within IT and business processes.
• Design and implement IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT automated controls, and business controls.
• Maintain and refine risk governance frameworks in line with regulatory standards.
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes and emerging technologies on IT and business controls.
• Review SOC 1/SOC 2 reports and guide the implementation of Complementary User Entity Controls (CUEC).
• Oversee remediation and provide guidance for resolving control deficiencies.

Project Management

• Manage risk throughout the lifecycle of enterprise initiatives.
• Coordinate control activity design and testing for new technologies with internal and external auditors.
• Integrate IT controls into the system development lifecycle (SDLC) in collaboration with IT teams.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Partner with IT, Finance, and Audit teams to improve IT and business control effectiveness.
• Provide training and mentorship on risk frameworks and standards.
• Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships to align risk and control strategies.

Risk Reporting and Monitoring

• Prepare risk assessment reports for IT and business leadership.
• Utilize tools like Archer and ServiceNow for risk monitoring and reporting.
• Effectively communicate risk management strategies to diverse audiences.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in IT governance, SOX compliance, and operational risk management.
• Expertise in ITGCs, IT automated controls, and SOX compliance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or certifications such as CISA or CISSP.
• Experience with frameworks like COBIT or ISO 27001.
• Proficiency with GRC tools (e.g., Archer, ServiceNow), cloud technologies, and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with risk assessment for agile SDLC methodologies and ERP systems.
