Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a 15-bed Emergency Department with a 1:5 patient ratio.
- Collaborate with physicians and a team of 2-4 RNs to deliver comprehensive emergency care.
- Perform rapid assessments, administer medications, and execute treatment plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies, ensuring timely and efficient interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital protocols.
- Work 12-hour shifts across various schedules based on department needs.
- Current Nevada RN license (must be active at the time of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; critical care experience preferred.
