Metro Aviation is seeking a Records Clerk / Scanner in the Aircraft Documentation Department at the Metro Aviation Headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana.

JOB OBJECTIVE
The Records Clerk / Scanner is responsible for managing and preserving the company's aircraft records.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Gather and sort paperwork
- File paperwork
- Store paperwork
- Retrieve paperwork
- Create and update records
- Perform regular quality checks on the file system
- Scanning records
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and organization
- Work successfully independently as well as in a team environment
- Extreme focus on accuracy and timeliness in a high-volume atmosphere
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Filing duties to include standing, pushing, pulling, climbing, and squatting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds - including overhead lifting
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in clerical work
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Temperature controlled office
- Low noise level
- Exposure to outdoor shop with potential extreme cold and hot temperatures along with loud noise level
STATUS & SCHEDULE
- Full-Time
- Monday-Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
- No travel required
