Responsibilities:
- Follow all opening and closing procedures, including inventory audits, starting/ending cash reports, cleaning and facing the store and merchandise, and setting out/taking in displays.
- Maintain a presentable appearance while following Metro by T-Mobile dress code.
- Greet each and every customer with a positive and helpful approach, explore each customer's needs and identify sales opportunities. Suggest the latest and greatest services and devices with detailed knowledge and with focus on monthly/quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Assist customers in troubleshooting their devices, by identifying the issue and assisting the customer with all available solutions.
- Perform sales transactions on POS, handling sensitive customer information with discretion, and processing cash, credit/debit, and financing payments.
- Attend in-person and online training. To stay up-to-date on all Metro by T-mobile policies and procedures, new devices, and current sales and promotions.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School or GED equivalent
- MUST have at least 1 year retail sales or customer service experience; experience in the wireless industry is highly preferred
- Must be proficient in computer skills, POS systems, spreadsheets, word processing.
- Must have extended knowledge of Android and iOS phone platforms.
- Must be available to work typical retail hours, including weekends and holidays
- Bilingual (Spanish), preferred, not required
