Job Overview
As an Associate Sales Representative at Metro Store, you will be the face of our company, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Your role will involve working collaboratively with the sales team to achieve store targets and contribute to a dynamic retail environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Address inquiries, provide product information, and resolve any issues to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the store’s products and promotions. Effectively communicate features and benefits to customers to drive sales and meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
- Store Operations: Maintain the visual appeal and organization of the sales floor. Ensure products are properly stocked, displayed, and priced. Assist with store housekeeping and merchandising tasks as needed.
- Checkout and Transactions: Operate the point-of-sale system, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and card payments efficiently. Provide receipts and process returns or exchanges as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive work environment. Participate in team meetings and contribute to store goals and initiatives.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, stock replenishment, and merchandise rotation. Report any discrepancies or issues with stock levels to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety, loss prevention, and customer privacy.
Licenses and Certifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
