Position Summary
Responds to emergency and non-emergency requests, provides Basic Life Support (BLS) as needed, transports sick or injured patients to the appropriate medical facility, and complies with state and local standards. We trust our providers to practice at the top of their certification; our facilities and their physicians trust our transport teams to integrate with their initial emergency treatment plans, follow up rehabilitation plans and long term care plans.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Colorado EMS Provider Certification (Required)
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification for the BLS provider (Required)
- Valid driver's license with Clean driving record (Required)
- Maintaining a Driver License for at least 1 year (Required)
- 1 Year Minimum Experience working in EMS (Required)
- EVOC/CEVO driver training course (Preferred)
- High School or Equivalent (required)
- NREMT EMT-Basic Certification (Preferred)
- At Least 18 years of age (Required)
- Ability to consistently twist, pull, push and lift 75lbs using proper safety and lifting techniques (Required)
- Ability to Read, Write and Speak English (Required)
- Ability to use a computer, smart phone, tablet and other smart devices. (Required)
- Submit to Criminal Background Check conducted by CBI (required)
- Submit to Drug Test upon hire and randomized drug testing throughout employment (Required)
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance in line with company uniform standards.
- Prompt attendance consistent with scheduled hours.
- Be respectful and courteous to healthcare professionals and patients, including being a patient advocate.
- Treat and transport patients in line with Denver Metro Protocols and industry best practices.
- Respond to calls in a timely manner, navigating to destinations by memory or with GPS software.
- Maintain contact with dispatchers via company phones and tablets.
- AEMTs provide an assessment of patients, determine necessary care and deliver emergency services by utilizing appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Use appropriate procedures to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment and tools.
- EMTs operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies, and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow EMTs.
Shift Hours
- Shifts are 12 Hour Shifts
- Weekday and weekend
Pay and Bonus Structure
- $20 /hour; additional pay for more experience/provider level.
- Performance base Raises with bonus at three-month, six-month, and yearly reviews.
- Overtime (time-and-a-half) pay available for >36 hours per week.
- Holiday Pay (time-and-a-half)
