Responsibilities
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to individuals experiencing domestic violence.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and develop appropriate case management plans.
- Facilitate access to resources such as shelter, legal assistance, and counseling services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, including data collection for reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, community partners, and service providers to ensure comprehensive support.
- Assist clients in navigating the legal system, including obtaining protective orders and understanding their rights.
- Implement behavior management strategies to help clients cope with trauma and stress.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills in addiction counseling and crisis intervention techniques.
- File necessary paperwork in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A background in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in crisis intervention or case management is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective advocacy.
- Experience with unhoused population a plus
- Ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining professionalism and empathy towards clients.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
