We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to conflict management, loss prevention, and surveillance operations. The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to emergencies effectively.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities and deter criminal behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required for law enforcement or management review.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns.
- Participate in ongoing training related to conflict management, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
