Position Overview:
The Business Systems Administrator plays a pivotal role in the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s business systems, with a primary emphasis on NetSuite, our enterprise-wide ERP platform. Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Maintenance
- Administer and maintain NetSuite, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security through regular updates, configurations, and monitoring.
- Customize and optimize NetSuite features, such as workflows, dashboards, and reports, to align with evolving business requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve system issues to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless functionality.
- Lead and execute NetSuite-related projects, including system enhancements, module implementations, and integrations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resources to deliver initiatives on time and within scope.
- Coordinate testing, training, and deployment phases to ensure smooth rollouts and effective user adoption of new features or processes.
- Provide expert-level technical support to NetSuite users, resolving issues and offering guidance to maximize system utilization.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain system security and compliance.
- Document common issues and solutions to streamline future troubleshooting and support efforts.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable system improvements.
- Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies or system upgrades that enhance business performance.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 3 years of hands-on experience administering NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering and executing technical projects, ideally in a business systems context.
- Experience in a fast-paced or growth-oriented organization is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in ERP administration, including configuration, customization, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Jira).
