The Finance Specialist work with the finance department to ensure payables, receivables are tracked; experience using the online QuickBooks system is an asset; experience with nonprofit fiscal management, conducting financial reporting, reconciling bank accounts, knowledge of generally accepted accounting principals, experience with payroll, including review of staff timesheets to ensure accuracy. Compiling backup documentation of fiscal transaction requests, monitoring bill payments, filing all finance documents. General experience working with nonprofit bookkeeping is an asset to this position.
