Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards on the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a courier vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all materials are secured properly during transit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
- Handle heavy lifting and moving of items as required by delivery tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in route driving or commercial driving preferred.
- Tech familiar, phones, tablets, email, etc.
- Experience in moving or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
- Familiarity NE Kansas Preferred.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
