What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst position at Metro EHS Pediatric Therapy?
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work at our South Lyon neighborhood therapy center to assist with maternity coverage beginning immediately until the end of June/July. There may be potential to work a full-time caseload at one of our 17 locations as the maternity coverage ends.

About MetroEHS:
MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy provides services at our therapy centers across the Metro Detroit area as well as staffing services for Special Education and Healthcare facilities across the state. Our unique strategy to assist others involves many therapy disciplines in one location, creating ease for caregivers of children that may need this approach to succeed. Our services include ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy & Speech Therapy. Affordable screenings for Speech-Language development, fine & gross motor development, sensory impairment, and autism are also offered.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Current certification as a BCBA through the BACB.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable form of insured transportation
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills
- Experience managing clinical staff and mentoring supervisory level clinicians
- The ability to lift 25 or more pounds as necessary
Job Duties:
- Provide Supervision to ABA Technicians.
- Train/teach each staff member and parent on their client/child's specific IPOS and behavior treatment plan before services begin.
- Develop child-specific skill acquisition programs and/or behavior treatment intervention plans in accordance with the principles of ABA therapy.
- Monitor and adjust behavior plan throughout treatment period in accordance with the child's progression.
- Submit weekly supervision notes for each client with what was covered during supervision, progress on goals and behavior graphing via our electronic medical record.
- Conduct initial assessments (ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK, etc) at intake and every 6 months thereafter and document findings in our electronic medical record.
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and training workshops.
