MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is excited to share we are expanding our team of professionals and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead our HR and Recruiting department! The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of employment labor laws, talent acquisition, and employee development, while also being proficient in various HR technologies. This role requires a proactive leader who can foster a positive work environment and align HR strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's overall business goals, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and organizational objectives.
Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and succession planning, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
HR Operations: Manage HR operations, including compensation and benefits, payroll, and HRIS systems, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
Business Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business and its strategic direction, enabling you to provide HR solutions that drive business results.
Leadership and Communication: Lead and mentor the HR/Recruiting teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date with changes in legislation.
Data Analysis: Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in HR practices.
Budget Management: Manage the HR budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated strategically to support HR initiatives.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex HR issues, providing timely and effective solutions.

For over 20 years, MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy has been a leader in providing integrated pediatric therapy services throughout Southeast Michigan. Our mission is to deliver evidence-based, intensive, multidisciplinary, and collaborative pediatric therapy that empowers children and their families to achieve their fullest potential. Our 17 neighborhood therapy centers make it easy for families to access a comprehensive approach to therapy, offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, ABA Therapy, and Feeding/Swallowing Therapy in one center.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field required. Master’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
- Valid/current SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in a previous HR Manager role, preferably in the healthcare or therapy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to think and respond quickly to employees as issues arise
