Pediatric Behavioral Technician
Location: Davison
Job Type: Part Time
Pay: $16-20/hr
(Dependent on education qualifications and valid RBT Certification)
Hours: Part Time: Monday - Friday, 12 pm - 4 pm (10-12 hours per week)

We are seeking compassionate people to work alongside our little Superhero's! MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy provides services at our therapy centers across the Metro Detroit area as well as staffing services for Special Education and Healthcare facilities across the state! Our unique strategy to assist others involves many therapy disciplines in one location, creating ease for caregivers of children that may need this approach to succeed. Our services include ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy & Speech Therapy. Affordable screenings for Speech-Language development, fine & gross motor development, sensory impairment and autism are also offered.
Position Summary:
Our Pediatric Behavioral Technicians will work closely with our little Superhero's to implement behavior intervention plans and support therapeutic strategies under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified professionals!
This role requires a passion for working with children, an understanding of behavioral management techniques, and the ability to adapt strategies to meet each child’s unique needs through 1:1 play therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Behavioral Intervention: Administer individualized behavior intervention plans and therapeutic strategies as directed by a BCBA or supervisor.
- Data Collection: Accurately and effectively record and monitor client behavior data, track progress, and report findings to the supervising behavior analyst.
- Client Support: Provide direct support to clients in a clinical environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with client’s families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavior management and support.
- Skill Development: Help clients in developing and improving skills in areas such as communication, social interactions, adaptive behavior, and daily living.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be 18 or older.
- Experience: Previous ABA experience is a plus but not required.
- Certification: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. We will pay for you to obtain this certification if you do not already have it!
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to follow detailed instructions, and proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Attributes: Empathetic, patient, and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude in challenging situations.
