Emergency Medical Technician
Duties:
- Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
- Assess patient's condition and determine appropriate treatment
- Administer necessary medical interventions, such as CPR, bandaging wounds, and administering medications
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities, such as hospitals or clinics
- Communicate with healthcare professionals to provide relevant patient information and receive further instructions
- Document all patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
Skills:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
- Proficient in performing heavy lifting and physical tasks required in emergency situations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often in high-pressure situations. Emergency Medical Technicians must be available for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
