Description
The Operations Manager works with the General Manager to build and develop an excellence-focused team; upholds The Metro Way standards for customer experience and operational excellence; maximizes site efficiency and profitability. The position reports directly to the General Manager and consults with the VP of Human Resources in HR matters.
- Exemplifies, executes, and mentors The Metro Way.
- Accountable for team and facility alignment with The Metro Way standards.
- Coordinates with the GM to provide ongoing guidance and leadership development of the site’s leadership team.
- Supports, coaches, and develops site Supervisor and CSR team.
- Assists in recruiting, training, and developing a highly motivated and effective team.
- Works with the GM to manage labor, scheduling, payroll, and site finances.
- Assist the GM to Conduct site team performance appraisals, promotions and terminations.
- Executes the safety plan to maintain a safety conscious culture and safe working environment at their location.
- Upholds legal and ethical standards for PCI compliance.
- Upholds the Metro standard customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinates with Headquarters departments to implement initiatives.
- Monitors and responds to facility, equipment, and property maintenance standards.
- Monitors and manages chemistry inventory.
- Open and close the location according to Metro standards.

This job operates in a car wash site location and outdoor environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, personal computers, iPads and standard industrial/mechanical tools and equipment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; lift; step down; pivot; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
