The Office/Service Coordinator will work directly for the sprinkler department. This person will provide quotes for customers deficiencies from Building Reports. Coordinator will be responsible for all fire sprinkler, backflow preventer quoting work. Also responsible for follow up with customers on a regular basis to check back and ensure that customers received the quote and answer any questions.
Responsibilities
Quote all BR deficiencies
Complete necessary paperwork in its entirety
Coordinate all unscheduled emergency and non emergency service work.
Follow up with customers on provided quotes.
Gather cost from suppliers for required materials.
Work with other department managers to create complicated quote.
Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Schedules all approved work that was quoted and or new service work that comes in.
Gatherers information for service work and quotes, once approved provides it to warehouse coordinator for ordering and receiving.
Works closely with technicians and department managers to ensure completion of work, BR corrections made, customer contact. Works closely with the warehouse coordinator for materials for service work.
Emergency after hours service call assistance, it is understood that this person will not be available at all times after hours and on weekends to support on call service technician with coordination, parts etc. but that this person will assist when available. The department manger and other managers can assist as well if this person is not available.
Requirements:High School Diploma or GED
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Able to work early and late hours depending on requirements.
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, with little supervision
Works effectively and efficiently while performing all aspects of the required job
Reliable, coachable, and willing to learn
High precision/ detail-oriented
Completing project in its entirety/ does not take short-cuts
Organized, systematic and adherent to deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Preferred
CSA Certification
OSHA Certification
Knowledge working in Profit Zoom, Building Reports, and Paylocity
Knowledge of fire systems and tools
