Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration and property maintenance. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system designs and layouts.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all work performed.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system operations and maintenance needs.
Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC/R systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
- Strong understanding of HVAC design principles.
- Experience as a service technician with hands-on repair skills.
- Ability to plumb and weld as needed for system installations or repairs.
- Familiarity with reading schematics for various HVAC systems.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices is a plus.
