Metro Services is seeking to immediately hire a Foam Department Supervisor for a Manufacturing company in Columbia, TN. This is a temp / contract to direct position. Apply now!
Duties for this position include :
- Train operators to run the machines
- Become forklift certified
- Make sure work orders are out for production to work on
- Adhere to our shipping days for customers and make sure their product is ready to ship
- Follow quality SOPs and ensure everyone in the department is following them
- Ensure operators are using the correct materials in production
- Make daily and weekly time corrections for your employees in KRONOS
- Ensure the department follows 5s requirements
- Complete work orders after production has run them
- Ensure employees are working safely in the department
- Ensure you are meeting your KPIs
- Minor repairs to the dies we use when needed
- Hold your employees accountable for their actions through disciplinary actions when needed
- Work with the customer service department for customer needs
Compensation (USD) : 1st Shift
45,000 - 49,000 / year depending on experience
Schedule : 1st Shift
Monday - Friday
6 : 30 a.m. - 4 : 00 p.m.
Saturdays when needed
