Metro Services is looking to immediately fill an Injection Molding Estimator position for a Manufacturing facility in Indianapolis, IN. This is a direct-hire position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include :
- Develop proposals in response to inbound customer requests for quotation
- Analyze drawings, CAD files, specifications, and other documentation to determine manufacturing time, and all costs including labor estimates, raw material prices, outside vendor costs, equipment, packaging, etc. as necessary to establish total costs for products, projects, or services
- Timely quoting of tools, parts, services, packaging, assembly, and any other components or costs associated with a customer’s request for a quote
- Review data to determine material, labor, and machinery requirements and involve the necessary departments and vendors to submit quotations on new and existing tooling and piece price projects
- Set up preliminary program information in the MRP system
- Manage RFQ and Quote Logs on in-process and processed quotations
- Assist in the sales process, as required, with the external sales team and at internal customer meetings
- Assist in updating existing part price quotations for customer pricing contracts and provide general technical assistance to the Sales personnel as required
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Compensation (USD) :
70,000 - $85,000 / year depending on experience
Schedule : Monday - Friday
Day Shift
8 hour day
