Metro Services is looking to immediately hire Material Handlers for a Manufacturing facility in Carey, OH. This is a temp / contract position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include :
- Operate forklifts and other equipment in a safe manner
- Complete all required and necessary safety checks
- Maintain the housekeeping and 5-S activities of the finished goods warehouse, shipping / receiving warehouse, and storage areas
- Ensure correct placement of finished goods in the warehouse
- Ensure all incoming deliveries of components / raw materials are put in the correct storage location within the plant
- FIFO all components and finished goods
- Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate
- Ensure that all components / raw materials are stocked line side timely and without interruption to the production process
- 100% on-time delivery
- Able to read and understand written instructions
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance as required
- Able to meet production and quality goals
- Support and participate in EHS objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation (USD) : Night Shift
19.80 / hour
