What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector Lead position at Metro Industrial Services?
Metro Services is looking to hire local Quality Inspector Leads for a Manufacturing company in Tecumseh, MI. This is a temp/contract to direct-hire position. Apply Now!
Duties for this job consist of the following:
- Establishing quality standards for products produced
- Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
- Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced
- Using gadgets such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products
- Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality
- Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing

1st Shift
Monday - Friday
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift
Monday - Friday
2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Shifts and times may vary
Weekends when needed
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Clean Drug Screen/Background
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years of quality experience
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to details
- Dexterity, physical strength, and physical stamina
- Ability to influence others to follow rules and regulations
- Strong leadership skills and teamwork mentality
