The role of Dock Greeter for Metro Caribbean is vital to marketing St. Thomas businesses and attractions to day visitors. It requires a cheerful demeanor and dependability. The job entails being the first smiling face to welcome cruise ship passengers to our island and handing them our St. Thomas In A Day guide and marketing cards from our advertising partners. Shifts are usually morning to lunchtime, on average 4 hours, at the St Thomas cruise ship docks. Must dress neatly and appropriately. Job requires standing outdoors for the shift. May also be needed to repack bins for distribution. Greeters must have transportation to the cruise ship docks at Havensight and Crown Bay Center and be at the assigned gate on time with bin of packets and for hours assigned.
