Description
We are accepting applications for a graphic designer to be responsible for creating high quality, accurate and creative artwork, editing and updating advertisements, sales materials and more in time to meet daily publication deadlines while meeting our press standards and the requirements of additional commercial partners in a fast-paced environment. Design work would be done as part of a team in our Gainesville, Ga. offices.
Minimum Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent professional experience

At least two (2) years of prior experience in fast-paced, high volume design environment

Proficiency with Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effect as well as Acrobat Pro

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Experience preparing advertisements and graphics for 4-color press output

Excellent, effective communication and attention to detail

Ability to perform assigned job responsibilities in a timely manner with minimal supervision

Flexibility in performing tasks outside of basic responsibilities
Prior experience with design and layout of newsprint and glossy magazine publications would be a definite plus.
