Staff Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong foundation in accounting principles.
What You Will Do
Manage Financial Processes: Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare and post journal entries while performing reconciliations for various accounts.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Inventory & Cash Management: Support inventory processes and verify cash deposits to maintain financial integrity.
Accounts Payable Oversight: Process and review accounts payable transactions for accuracy and efficiency.
Quality Control: Verify printed product invoices to ensure correct billing.
Cross-Department Support: Serve as a backup to the Controller and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
Additional Responsibilities: Perform various other accounting duties as assigned by the Controller to support overall business operations.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
Accounting Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of general ledger functions.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in intermediate Excel is required; experience with Acumatica is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
Problem-Solver: Proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving accounting discrepancies.
Team Player: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Work Environment: This role is in-person, Monday through Friday.
